Nissan GT-R 4D Virtual Reality Simulator Debuted

At this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed on the weekend of June 23rd, one of the biggest parties for gearheads of the year, the new Nissan 4D virtual reality simulator was revealed. The simulator allowed festival goers to experience the Goodwood Hill Climb with GT-R NISMO driver Jann Mardenborough, putting them—virtually—in the passenger’s seat with him.

New Nissan GT-R Unveiled in New York

The Nissan GT-R debuted nearly ten years ago in 2007, when it became the halo car for the Nissan brand. Since then, the GT-R’s design and performance have remained surprisingly relevant without any major makeovers since its initial launch. However, the new Nissan GT-R, unveiled in New York at the end of March, is receiving its first significant overhaul since it first appeared in Nissan’s lineup — though it’s good to keep in mind that the new GT-R manages to cut a more modern shape and offer top-of-the-line performance, while still remaining in its first generation.
